Faith Mode: On

Do we keep our faith mode on all the time? Over the years, I have found that faith builds deep trust in God. Through resolve and prayer, I trust that when the path ahead is foggy, when the answers don't come, and when the world says to give up, I know God is in control, working in the background to bring about His will for my life.

The heroes of the Old Testament: Abraham, Sarah, Moses, and so many others, walked in faith without seeing the whole picture. They didn't have the cross, the resurrection, or the indwelling Spirit. Yet they believed.

We, on the other hand, have seen the fullness of God's plan in Christ. We know the power of the resurrection. We carry the Spirit within us. So how much more can we walk boldly in Faith, even when life feels uncertain?

Faith opens our eyes to see God working through people and places we'd never expect. Currently, its impact is seen in the movement of Gen Z and Millennials. This invites us to praise Him not just for what He's done, but for what He's doing.

As our pastor always says, "Here's the big idea." So I say to my friends and family: let's keep the faith. Let it be our anchor in the storm, our compass in the wilderness, and our song in the silence. God is faithful. He was then, He is now, and He will be forever. And, this Thanksgiving season, I am thankful for it.
